Documents required for extension a tourist visa for Chinese
Before traveling to Thailand, Chinese nationals must first have a tourist visa or TR visa. Applicants must apply for a travel permit to enter Thailand for tourism purposes or a tourist visa from the Royal Thai Embassy or the Thai Consulate General in China by applying for a tourist visa for the first time. The applicant will receive a single entry visa with a visa validity of 3 months and a period of stay of 60 days/entry, stamped by the immigration officer upon arrival in Thailand and when the tourist visa is about to expire, Chinese citizens can apply for one visa extension (Tourist Visa or TR Visa Extension) as a renewal of a permit to stay in Thailand provided that the original visa has not expired. For the first visa extension, the applicant will be granted a visa extension up to a maximum of 1 month from the date the original permission expires, at the discretion of the Immigration Office staff in Thailand.

- A copy of the organization’s proof of incorporation, such as a certificate of incorporation or registration of partnership and the registrar’s certificate not more than 6 months.
- Copy of account list of all shareholders and the registrar’s certificate not more than 6 months.
- A copy of the latest year’s balance sheet and income statement, with a corporate income tax return (P.N.D.50) and receipts, and a copy of S.B.Ch.3 (must be certified by the Revenue Department or the Ministry of Commerce or from the auditor or use original documents only)
- A copy of the withholding income tax return (P.N.D. 1) with the name of the Thai employee and the name of the foreigner applying for the last 3 months with the receipt (If there is no name of the alien, make a clarification letter and foreigners are prohibited from having a list in P.N.D. 1 before obtaining a work permit)
- A copy of the personal income tax return form (P.N.D.91) of the latest applicant’s foreigner with receipt. (if any)
- A copy of the form showing contributions submitted to the Social Security Office (SPS.1-10) for the last 3 months, with receipts.
- A copy of the value added tax return (PP30 or 36) of the latest 3-month financial year with receipts.
- Documents or evidence showing that the business is necessary to hire foreigners to work, such as announcing the recruitment of Thai people to work, then there are no candidates, etc.
- Map showing the applicant’s workplace (Company seal and authorized directors)
- Documents or other evidence as specified by the Immigration Officers Monitoring Committee (Form STM.2)
